Privacy Policy

LAZI (lazi.studio) sells Squarespace templates and plugins. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We are the controller of that data.

Only what we need to sell you something and support it afterwards.

• Your name and email address — to create your account, deliver your purchase and send receipts.
• Order details — what you bought, when, how much you paid, and your billing country.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store full card details.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and pages visited, recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
• Newsletter preference — if you opt in.

We use your data to:

• Deliver what you bought and give you access to it.
• Send transactional email — receipts, invitation links, sign-in links.
• Provide support when you ask for it.
• Keep the site secure and diagnose faults.
• Send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
• Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our legal bases are performing our contract with you (delivery, support), your consent (newsletter), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention) and legal obligation (tax records).

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that make the shop work:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Plunk — transactional and newsletter email.
• Hostinger — hosting for this website.
• Squarespace — template invitations are issued through Squarespace, so accepting one involves your Squarespace account.
• Refferq — our referral program, if you arrive through a partner link.

Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

We keep cookies to a minimum and use none for advertising.

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Essential; the site cannot work without it.
• Referral cookie — set for 30 days if you arrive through a partner link, so the partner is credited if you buy.
• Stripe may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. Clearing the session cookie signs you out.

The newsletter is opt-in. We send occasional notes about new products and guides — never daily, never sold on. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect the emails we must send about your orders.

Account and order records are kept while your account is open and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards. Server logs are kept briefly for security. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
• Restrict or object to how we use it.
• Send it to you, or another provider, in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time.

Email hello@lazi.studio and we will act on it. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

The site runs over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe, and sign-in uses one-time emailed links rather than stored passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care with what we hold.

Our products are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
